Born in Melrose, Massachusetts, J.R. has only moved one state over, living almost her whole life in New Hampshire, starting in Nashua, moving to Manchester, finally settling in Franklin, with her husband and two cats.

From a young age J.R. could be sighted either reading, or writing stories of her own. But, when she wasn’t imagining fictional characters and adventures, she was off drawing or making short films with her sister and cousins.
